Map of Ethiopia

Abera is from the Sidamo (sometimes spelled Sidama) region of Ethiopia. The capital of this region is Awasa. Hopefully, we will have a chance to travel to Sidamo to visit Abera's birth family.

We are still waiting for the call to travel. In the meantime, I have been engaging in a little bit of retail therapy and with Grace's help, purchased a few outfits. It's hard to know how big he will be when we get there so I have been buying mostly 6-12 months sizes.
