Home Study is Done

I just got an email from our home study agency that our home study is done, signed and in the mail! YAY! So from the time we started the home study application to the day we receive it will be 10 weeks. That's not so bad. From what I hear, most folks wait 4 to 5 months for their home study to be completed.

Now we will send our home study to Citizen and Immigration Services so we can be fingerprinted by the FBI and then our dossier goes to Ethiopia. Then our real waiting begins--for a referral.
