Abera

I only have a few minutes here because it is almost 7 and bath and bed time for Abe.

He is the BEST baby. He laughs and coos and babbles all of the time. He smiles at everything and is so happy. The only time he cries is when he wants his bottle. He doesn't seem to have any sickness at all, except for a cough from a cold that all of the kids at the orphanage had.

He loves to crawl and sit up and roll around and he likes to be held. He enjoys playing with virtually anything -- a box, tissues, and even some of the toys we brought him. He naps twice a day -- a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon. He drank 3 8-ounce bottles last night!

Last night was a little tough. It was our first night together, and he is just like Grace -- a very noisy and active sleeper. He also doesn't want to miss a thing, so he has missed a couple of naps since we have been out and about. He handles it all so well -- just happy all the time.

I was up all night trying to figure out if he was up. Except for the feedings, he slept. He is eating some rice cereal and some fruit/vegetables, but he really wants big people food -- bread, crackers, bananas, etc. He loves it, and his whole body wiggles when he gets excited.

The Hilton is divine. We had cheeseburgers and fries for lunch -- room service. We are such spoiled Americans.
